Jazz on a Sunday Afternoon, June 04, 2017,

Private House Concert

, 3:00 PM

So excited to host another intimate jazz concert in my home for all my lovely peeps. I'm such a fortunate individual to hang out with and be associated with the most talented individuals around. And I'm so thrilled to share the stage with two of my gifted and amazing friends, Tiffany Bailey and Mayita Dinos.

Although the evening will be primarily dedicated to jazz, we just might throw in a little Blues, some Spanish songs, R&B and Pop here and there. Be prepared for an afternoon of passion, soul and emotion; and hopefully lots of fun and laughter. We are so excited to be accompanied by the fantastic Rick Hils on piano and the incredible Bill Marcus on bass! This is always a great way to make new friends and share the love we all have for live music!

So Rare - that once in a life-time kind of love that we all yearn for and that so few come to know. Inspired by the beautiful romance shared by Ronald and Nancy Regan, the love letters and utter devotion; as well as other historical romances and most definitely by couples that I know personally, this will be a night of mushy, starry-eyed, puppy-love, tender love songs (and surprisingly only 4-5 ballads . . . smile). Music by Harold Arlen, Leslie Bricusse, Jim Croce, Mack Gordon, Bart Howard, Johnny Mercer, Cole Porter, Harry Warren, Mark Winkler, and more! Accompanied by Steve Rawlins on piano; John B. Williams on bass; and Steve Pemberton on drums.
